Leeann Monfort

For this series I follow Leeann Monfort. She is a 33 year old women who is mentally delayed. At the age of four months her parents, Louann and Jimmy Monfort, notice that their baby girl was breathing abnormally. They rush to the hospital and the doctors discover that Leeann had a brain tumor. She had surgery right away and came out fine. Growing up she had a regular childhood but progress slowly than other children.
Five years ago, doctors noticed that Leeann had another brain tumor. Again Leeann went into surgery and came out fine but due to previous medication Leeann became delayed. Not being able to do things on her own. Bath, brushing her teeth, clothing herself, feeding, barley talking. Her parents are still her care takers. Leeann also has a PA (a nurse), Miss Dorothy, who watches Leeann five days a week, whom is also now a family friend, and different two PA's over the weekend.
Leeann is the oldest of three. Having two younger brothers.

Valerie June

Spring of 2011 I follow Ms. Valerie June for four months for my Sequence of a Story class. She is a Indie Folk Bluegrass singer from Tennessee. The way she describes her music is Organic Moonshine Root. I was so interested in following her because A) her music is so beautiful & B) who else is an African American Folk Bluegrass musician? I was so nervous the first time having to meet and ask her can I follow her for a semester. Even doe I have met and talk to her a lot while she was working at Maggie Phrams and Java Cabana. She always knew what incense I wanted to purchase. While following her I gain to know her a little. She has this unique, bright, beautiful personality, and a very decade to what she wants to do with her music. I receive a good grade for my assignment but if I can do it all over again, I would only if she lets me.
